Kerbside appeal disappointing. the front garden looks a bit unkempt. A closer location to the harbor would enhance convenience. No fish options on the breakfast menu.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – best I've had! The owners were very helpful too. Just a bit crowded around the bed with not much space. 🌟

Warm welcome from Lucy and Brian! Room had incredible moor views, was spotless, with excellent en-suite amenities. The breakfast was a full English cooked perfectly! Plus, lovely rural location just a 15-minute walk to town.

absolutely not impressed with Mooredge B&B. the room was blindingly bright at dawn, not a dream. expected them to go above and beyond since I paid, but they offered no special treats? shocking! lovely view, if only it drowned out the noise outside. almost wanted to recommend it, but just couldn’t, not at all.

We had an amazing stay at Mooredge B&B for 2 nights. The room was beautifully decorated, and the views across the Esk Valley were a perfect backdrop. Lucy's warm welcome made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was simply outstanding, with the full English being the best I’ve ever had!
No drawbacks during our visit.

The attic room was spacious and spotless with a lovely view. Amenities included a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and cookies. The bathroom was modern with fluffy towels. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked with local produce. Cozy atmosphere with a comfortable bed and homely touches like a rocking chair made it feel special. Free parking available too.

a warm welcome with beautiful views
The B&B offered stunning views from the room window. The breakfast selection was varied and met our needs perfectly, providing a delightful start to our day. A special mention goes to the charming owner's dog, who added a personal touch to our stay.
There was occasional noise from outside that could be distracting.

Had a great time with friends! The room was bright and clean, and we loved the generous breakfast. Perfect for filling up before heading to the local attractions. The hosts were super friendly and made our stay special. Definitely recommend this place for a fun group getaway!
The only downside was that the parking area was slightly tricky to access as it was off the main road. Just be cautious when maneuvering in tight spaces.

It was just an appropriate option for a temporary stay in Whitby with reasonable value. The house has lovely views over the fields which added to our experience. Bring your own snacks since options nearby may be limited.
